Originally written as a pamphlet for young immigrant women in 1901, The Settlement Cookbook’s many editions have defined and documented the story of Jewish cooking in America. Authored by a social service worker in Milwaukee named Lizzie Black Kander, The Settlement Cookbook has remained relevant over a century after its publication.
This 1947 edition is in good vintage condition. The binding is tight and pages are clean. Minor separation of the outer surface of the front cover is shown in photos.
